What is share certificate?
A share certificate is a certificate issued by a company certifying that on the date the certificate is issued a person is the registered owner (Shareholder) of a certain number of shares in the company.

What should appear on the share Certificate?
The key information contained in the share certificate is: the full names of shareholder, and shareholders’ residential addresses, the allocated number of shares held, percentage shareholding, total number of authorised shares in the company and distinctive number of shares allocated to the shareholder.
